"My family recently lost the Matriarch of our family and decided to have our friends and family join us in a “Celebration of Life” gathering at the Elks Lodge on Hecker Pass in Gilroy. I remember meeting with the coordinator, Jenny for the first time to go over the details and I was so distraught and exhausted that I could barely think. Jenny was so understanding and gentle. She made everything so easy for my family and myself! I remember her telling me not to worry about anything and she will handle everything and any changes we would like to make to just let her know. The Lodge mainly handles weddings/receptions and quinces there but Jenny said she will do her best to accommodate our event needs and be make it beautiful and respectful and she did! Everything came out absolutely perfect! I was in shock! Not only is it a beautiful venue to begin with, everything from appetizers to dinner was delicious! She was so accommodating and friendly yet gentle given our circumstances. I won’t get into what we paid because every event varies depending on what you want. But I will say it was the best money spent for treating our guests in paying tribute to my Mother in a beautiful and peaceful setting. You really won’t be able to find a more beautiful place at a better price point. Thank you so much Jenny at The Elks Lodge for putting this together for us and being so wonderfully kind and communicative throughout it all! A big shout out to the catering company that they use!
